KEVIN & MINORKA

Sparked in 2019 by a match on a dating app, Kevin and Minorka’s story was anything but a slow burn. The pair met for their first date not long after some witty back-and-forth on the app, and by the end of it, the flame had been lit! Not only was the attraction immediate, but Kevin was also enamored by her amiability, while Minorka was charmed by his overwhelming curiosity (despite being taken aback at first).  After a series of equally engaging follow-up dates (the second of which she almost forgot to arrive to!), the couple made things official just two months later. 

The five years since then have been filled with many highlights: complete run-throughs of several theme parks, hilarious comedy shows, a couple of tasty dinners, and traveling the world together. It has also been filled with a few bloopers; for starters, ask Kevin about why his apartment floor had more of the champagne he purchased for their New Year’s 2019 celebration than they as a couple did, or Minorka about his "personalized creation" of a perfume purchase for her (she almost threw up )! From taking the longest flight in the world together and somehow talking throughout the entire 26 hour flight; to sleeping on a balcony and getting eaten by mosquitos in Jamaica because there was a blackout; these experiences speak to their common qualities (openness, adventurousness, and a sense of humor).

The couple is excited to continue to explore their future in the next chapter of their lives as husband and wife and they’re just as excited, and grateful, to have both family and friends welcome that chapter with them!
